Ravi has over 40 years of diversified experience including managing feasibility studies, developing process flowsheets, performing material and energy balance calculations, developing detailed process design criteria and functional duty specifications for equipment, overseeing bench-scale tests, and assisting clients during start-up of smelting and hydrometallurgical plant facilities.

 

Metallurgical process engineering experience includes size reduction, solid/liquid separation, design of heap, vat and agitated tank leaching circuits, smelting and refining of nonferrous and precious metals, solvent extraction, and electro refining/electrowinning of copper, extraction of cobalt, manganese, nickel, and scandium, recovery of lead from spent acid batteries, and reprocessing of electric arc furnace (EAF) dust for contained metal values.
